I had a much better day today than Sunday. Thanks for praying. The pain that remains is mostly in my mouth...just really tight/sore feeling...probably sort of like braces I guess. Tim is trying to get me "down" to extra strength tylenol (liquid) so that I don't have the nasty side effects of heavier pain relievers. Pray that it works enough. It still is tough to get comfortable...probably cause all I do is sit or lay for a few more weeks. Your comments are so encouraging to me...(Michelle, you're a riot!) They took me on an outing to the mall this afternoon. It was pretty enjoyable but a bit tiring...yes, even for me! :) Love to all!! Tim keeps reminding me...when I get a bit down...this circumstance we find ourselves in is NO mistake. I know that, but to be honest, don't exactly like it...but knowing God is in control and working all things for HIS glory, is GOOD enough for me!!

  1. Yes, Timboy is sooo right! I often remind myself in times of "what in tarnation is going on?" that God isn't taken by surprise by it. He's not up there looking down saying "oh dear, sorry guys, that's not what I thought was going to happen. My bad". So in a way just knowing that soothes me a bit. I'm so glad you are being well taken care of. You are living every girl's dream...time off her feet...no laundry, no cooking...doting husband...friends and family flying in to wait on you hand-and-foot...Dr.s working their magic on you (though taking the route of plastic surgery might have been A BIT less painful..something you can remember for next time, hehe)...and FINALLY...a diet that works! Mmmmm mmmm good. Yep. You just might be the envy of many a girl!

  2. Oh, Michelle. You ARE a riot! Kim, so glad to know your day was better today (yesterday). We're praying specifically about you being able to get "down" to lower strength pain meds. Countless people often asking about you, assuring me of their prayers. More on email...

  3. You Guys have been in our hearts and prayers daily for the past 3weeks and will continue to be in the coming weeks. We were so very thankful no one was killed in the accident and how God worked everything out for His glory, people were praying all over the world, how cool is that.
I know you tell us things are a lot slower pace in PNG but gee did you really want so much excitement all at once. Everyone but Kayla had surgery this month so you shouldn't have any trouble remembering your medical history for this 2009.
Tim you get kudo's for being the best one armed nurse. This might be your new calling....
    Keep smiling :)

Ps. I finally figured out this blog thing, Nicole was keeping us in the loop with facebook. I'm not the hip yet!!

  4. Thanks for the info. Keep having those good days. Even we old people can read the blogs but not very good in writing them. Beautiful in PA - just like summer - but no leaves on our trees yet. Grandma & Grandpa
