Dr.'s Appts. coming up!
Ok, so it is Tuesday 4:45 pm and most of you on the East coast are in deep REM sleep, getting ready for your Tuesday morning. Not much new to report on, but that Kim has a few Dr's appt. coming up...tomorrow(Wed. for us) will be her face/jaw appt. and Thursday (for us) will be checking her leg. Please pray that the Dr.'s would be able to give guidance with the pain management so that it may not be as "up and down" as its been (even though that is too be expected). Also, that she would know what kind of stretches/rehab she could be doing while she is out of the hospital, but in a nice facility to recover before returning to PNG. Today has been a bit slower than yesterday, but at this moment we are waiting to head out the door and wheel her around a boardwalk-type walk and enjoy God's beauty. Continue to pray for each of their girls' Hope, Kelsey (Lanc, PA), Kayla, and Kacie (PNG) as they are apart as a family and of course desire to be together at this time.

Hope was so glad when Kim called her last night. We are praying that you will fell good enough to travel back to PNG for graduation. Also Hope wants to know the dates again when you are going on vacation when you get into the states. She heard different dates from her grandma & wants to make sure that she has the right ones off from work. Please take care of yourselves & we can't wait to see you soon. Angie
ReplyDeleteI must confess a tiny little secret that has been going on in my life...just as I have taken on the challenge of learning how to left-handed-single-finger smiley face type, so as to feel for Tim in his sole hand typing skills, so too have I immersed myself in a compassion lesson for you, Kim. You see, I've been secretly wondering how this whole wired-shut-jaw-thing effects the daily efforts of life. And I have since found out GREATLY. So I've been trying my hand at lock-jaw, seeing how drinking without opening my jar works...and I report my findings to you...not so well. I must say that I'm better at gulping air than drinking liquid. And so my compassion for you Kim has deepened, and I celebrate with you in successful meals that make it to their final destination. ;)....that smiley face was done one handed in honor of you, my friend, Tim.
